Once Upon A Time my sister requested I change the quote on the homepage because she was sick of reading it, but this time she's made another request.
And I quote...
"Stupid Runaway Bride Bitch....really pisses me off. And really....deer in headlights. That bitch just looks wierd. Her pastor at church was on the Today show this morning...WHO CARES. Apparently all her Sundays in church didn't keep her from being a wierd attention whore. Please blog about this bitch....and how much I (we) hate her."
I guess the moral of the story is. If you don't want to get married, don't. No need to runaway and go public...It will really make my sister upset. Hopefully when you do return and get married it's not to someone who's stupid enough to still want to marry you after you make an ass out of him on national television.
The End.
(This fairy tale is rated PG-13 for obvious reasons. Sorry mom, the effect would've been lost without the explicit lyrics.) |

Ugh.
Something happened.
I don't know if it was food poisoning...or a virus. Both Jay & I felt sick starting yesterday morning, and were violently ill most of the day yesterday. To the point he passed out at work and was taken to the ER to have IVs put in to replenish his fluids. It's been a miserable 24 hours, but the end is in sight.

Today I got back my energy, and attacked my apartment head on. Spring cleaning if you will. Putting the winter clothes in storage, and bringing the summer clothes to the closet. Awww Yeah! Making a pile of crap to put on ebay, and sell to people who horde useless stuff.
I love to purge. It's so liberating.
And I don't mean that in the bulimic sense. |

TIDBITS...
Congratulations to Matt & Emily on their inagural blog posting. I gave them the gift of a website for their wedding, and 9 months later it came to fruition. It's kind of like giving birth. Consider it my firstborn...and it's yours! It still needs some work, but it's up and running, and that is a huge step in the right direction. I'm actually considering re-vamping my blog using the same system. Check back in 5 years! HA!
If you feel like giving to a good cause (or just have an affinity for breasts) think about donating to my friend Marisa. She has signed on for the challenge of walking 60 miles via the Breast Cancer 3-Day this summer. I can't participate because of a mysterious childhood disorder my mother totally denies. My hips displace (and hurt!) after approximately 4 miles. So the next best thing is giving money. And what's $5 to you...a latte? Click Here To Donate!
Congratulations to Mary-Ann on graduating from her Master's Program! I was commissioned to create a graduation announcement for her...and it's so frikkin' cute I had to share it with everyone...

Today I received an email from one of our clients titled, " A little somethin' somethin' ".
And it went a little somethin' like this...
"In honor of your fantastic work for us, please take a moment for yourself. We have arranged for a 60 minute massage for you at the Aveda Spa at the Alexis Hotel in Seattle. We really appreciate all of your hard and great work for us and are thrilled to have you as part of the NutraBella team."
...is that not the best news ever? |

It's finally live! LittleMountainLaser.com is up and running. So...if you want any type of laser treatment, hair removal, or microdermabrasion it's imperative that you see Lyn at Little Mountain Laser.
I had my armpits lasered, and it's the best thing that ever happened to my underarms. I'm moving onto other body parts in the near future. Do it. You'll love it.
Disclaimer: There is a wee bit of pain involved, but it's worth it.

I can't believe tomorrow it's June. Memorial Day weekend went good for me. Jay & I went down to Tacoma on Saturday for lunch with Mom & Sarah, and a matinee showing of Star Wars. Not before we decided to take the top off the Jeep (for the 2nd time in it's history). Let's just say it was not a smooth or friendly process, and we obtained the help of Sunny & Mike to put it back on the next day.
We also somehow managed to get my BBQ from my Mom's house in Tacoma to Seattle, with no top on the Jeep. Not without trouble, of course. We had to pull off the freeway several times to save the lid from flying down I-5, and try to get the cover (which was one size too small) over the drum to prevent ash from flying all over the place. Needless to say...ash flew all over the place, and the cover didn't stay on. The car was covered in soot. In my hair. In my eyes. But we made it, with all the parts of the BBQ, and had a nice dinner at 9pm. HA!
Sunday we spent most of the day at a BBQ in South Seattle.
Monday we headed north for my 2nd round of laser hair removal on my armpits, and I moved on to my lower legs. We had dinner with Lyn, Robert, and their girls, and that was that.
Happy Birthday Mike! (Your birthday shout-out is a couple days late!)
Happy Birthday Lyn!
Happy Birthday Gramp! |
