I RAM my toes into the broken computer monitor sitting on the floor. Trip. Fly headfirst towards my dresser and barely avoid a head injury. I follow this sequence with a loud swearing, and some limping to quell the pain. I haven't figured out how many more times I am going through this routine before I remove it from the premises. It's just not as easy as carrying it to the dumpster. There are logistics involved. In due time.

I can't believe it's July.

Though I wasn't lucky enough to score a 3-day weekend like the rest of the country, I did have a busy weekend with the Kisena family! A wedding on Friday night (see picts below), a trip to the zoo, Thai food & tv, a birthday party, a bbq & fireworks on Lake Stevens, and I just go home from the Sarah McLachlan concert at the Key Arena. Fantastic!...and exhausting!

Kara & I before the ceremony. Kara claimed I didn't have a "hairball" on the top of my head, but it sure looks like I do...

Amber (the bride) and Kara...gettin' the party started!

Amy & Kara lookin' "beauty"!

The girls. We were the party!

Kara & Ruby tearin' up the dance floor.

These two might be havin' a little too much fun!

Ha! A funny dancin' face & I think Kara might be doin'
"the train" in front of Amy's face...

What the hell.

I was really indifferent to the building of a new monorail system in Seattle. After my commuting experience last year, I was all for anything that would alleviate traffic. However minor. That was until I got my tab renewal card in the mail. It was then I realized that $113 was added to the price of my tabs as a result of the monorail project. I know there is a plethera of wealthy people in Seattle. Is there any particular reason I have to buy the monorail? It may be nieve, but its also bullshit.

I just got back from a girls weekend away at Cannon Beach, Oregon. It was full of laughing, sharing, and just plain being together. We had a fabulous spa experience, and then I threw up. We met Spiderman on the beach in the middle of the night...oh the stories we have.

What did I forget to bring with me you ask?
My toothbrush, and underwear.

It is
bloody hot.

...so I'm holed up in my apartment catching up on some work & stuff I have to do. I had a small but opportune window of time between the time I took my dad to the airport early this morning, and the time I have to pick my friend up from the airport tonight...and I had to factor in some extra shut eye.

I had a great visit with my Dad this week. We saw a couple movies, went to a Mariners game. Did some apartment improvement projects, watched the Tour de France, shopped, ate, and just hung out.

My friend Mary-Ann is flying in later tonight from Ohio. It's funny. We haven't seen each other since approximately 8th grade, but we've been stellar pen pals. I've talked to her on the phone once in 10 years. The rest has been letters. Lots of them. At best a couple a week! I'm sure we have changed alot since we were thirteen. It should be fun!

Stay cool! Ugh...
